A full range of martial arts concepts
from, boxing, kick/thai boxing, wing chun and grappling -
which makes up the 4 ranges of punching, kicking, trapping
and grappling
Filipino Martial Arts
Our Filipino martial arts encompasses
single/double stick (solo/doble baston), stick & dagger
(short and long weaponry i.e. espada 'y' daga) locks, throws,
grappling (dumog) empty hand (mano mano).
In addition to regular classes we also offer
small group and one to one tuition in individual arts or a
mixture of all.
Keith James
Keith James has been training in martial
arts for over 8 years, training under many top instructors.
He started originally with the very excellent James Cowan
in kickboxing and JKD Concepts attaining his black belt, then
going on to get his apprenticeship level 2 under the legendary
Guru Bob Breen. Keith also has had the privilege of training
with Guru David Onuma and reaching his apprenticeship level
2 in Jun Fan and Kali.
Keith's vast kickboxing skills has enabled him to train some
of the top fighters in the UK including Mo Kargbo who under
Keith's guidance achieved 2 British titles, 3 European titles
and 2 World titles.
Keith's other main
passion is his interest of the Filipino martial arts and he
has the great honour of training with the UK's most knowledgeable
people:
Tuhon Pat O'Malley who
is the founder of Rapid Arnis International, a 6th grade in
Doces Pares under Diony Cañete,
3 times World Champion, 5 times European Champion and 38 times
British Champion. European representative of San Miguel Eskrima,
Member of the Filipino Council of Kali, Eskrima, Arnis Masters,
Representative of the Worlds Peoples Council of the United
Nations for Sports & Culture - Asian office.
Keith is an Instructor under the Rapid Arnis International
System

San Miguel under the Senior
Instructors in the UK Tuhon Pat O'Malley and Dayang Lucy O'malley
- both are directly under Diony Cañete
- and Tuhon Pat O'Malley is also directly under Kano Cañete
for San Miguel Eskrima - both are lifetime members of Doce
Pares
Keith is a 2nd Grade Black Belt under
the Guba Doce Pares Multi Style System
